Yoga

Grace has practiced hatha yoga for 25 years.  The teacher who most influenced her practice was Donna Farhi.  Shortly after completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training and several years as a yoga teacher in Hawaii, Grace entered a path of solo-practice.  It was partly imposed by living on a boat in the South Pacific, far from classes, communities, or lineages.  Ten years since, Grace is now sharing the yoga journey with students in her home studio in France.

The core of her practice is contained in Patanjali’s concise sloka (verse):

Sthira sukham asanam (effort  ease  yoga)

The union of effort and ease.

Let something larger do the work.

It’s not what you think.
